The much loved coupon
For those of you that have been shopping with Monarch for many years, you probably remember that we ran coupon sales fairly frequently. However, since switching our website hosting platform we had ceased to offer coupons. Without getting into too much technical detail we had some website functionality that we were accomplishing by using the coupon feature. Unfortunately this meant that we were unable to run coupon sales as coupons were effectively disabled.
Recently you may have noticed that we switched to a single price for payment methods and did away with the price decrease or cash discount for alternative payment methods. We found that the vast majority of customers were shopping with a credit card and never got to take advantage of the cash discounts. So coupons are back.

How to use Coupons
Coupons can be entered in 2 places. The first option for entering a coupon code is in the shopping cart (as pictured above). The second option for entering a coupon code is on the checkout screen (as pictured below).
